51 Cooking Myths That Are Actually False

I was shocked by a lot of myths that I’d been subscribing to, but Eat This, Not That! published a list of 51 Cooking Myths That Are Actually False.  I mean, I knew not to oil or rinse my pasta and that over-cooking a steak is a sin, but I had no idea that keeping my avocado pits was a waste of time!  I also recently 86-ed milk from my eggs and my omelets have never been fluffier.  But I didn’t know to leave my rice alone and allow it to cook in peace.  And I prefer my tomatoes roasted anyway, so learning that they’re just as healthy as their raw counterparts was great news to me.  And I am relieved about the lobsters, lol.  Test your knowledge and check out the article–let me know what surprised you.
