
Eat This Not That! put out a great article on ways to save your food scraps and repurpose them, which is great for saving money and reducing environmental waste. I have used some of these tips for a while, like saving bones and things for homemade stock and using coffee grounds for exfoliating and gardening, but other items on their list were totally surprising. And whether or not you take their advice with all of those things, composting is another great way to reduce waste in your kitchen.
